Andrew Burgess


When Andrew landed in Dubai 10 years ago, being one of the early adopters of social media, he worked with large digital agencies, specialising in conversation and viral marketing; Andrew helped brands to listen, understand and engage in conversations, exclusively focusing on social media marketing for agencies clients.

Three years ago, Andrew moved to TINT, a UGC SaaS platform that collects, moderates and curates social content from across the world and displays it anywhere. Using TINT, organisations harness and filter the wealth of user generated content created about their brand and category every day and display it across websites, mobile apps, digital advertising, TV, digital billboards and jumbotrons.

Andrew has worked with over 100 brands in the Middle East & Asia, including Atlantis The Palm, One&Only, Emaar, Six Senses, Rove Hotels, RAK TDA, DCT Abu Dhabi, Coach, Bloomingdales, Harvey Nichols, MAF Retail and Al Tayer Retail, executing successful UGC strategies. Andrew was also responsible for launching a MEA first in-guest room UGC experience for Atlantis The Palm, a powerful tool for building their brand, engaging customers, and inspiring action.

At the start of 2018 Andrew left his role as Middle East & Asia Pacific Director to become an Advisor to TINT and launch the first full service user generated content agency in the Middle East & Asia.

Andrew is regularly seen on stage and has been a keynote speaker at shows such as Arabian Travel Market, DigiConf, Seamless, RetailTech, eCommerce show, Customer Experience Show, Media360, Digital Media Forum, HSMAI Conference, Aviation Show, Cityscape and Loyalty Show.
